This QAL was wonderful!! It was so much fun & a perfect way to spend the summer.... sewing along with Susan Ache and FB & IG friends. A big thank you to Susan Ache. This sew along has been a complete blessing from looking at fabric a new way, learning to work with 6 inch blocks. I will be using sampler spree for so many more quilts

What a fun quilt journey although I still have far to go. Learning new things with each block.

Yes! I'd love to do Susan's quilt along again next summer! I landed on blue & yellow this time, but would enjoy doing one the "color way" next time! One thing I'd like tho is to have the option between 12" and 6" blocks. It would be fun to mix them up! Warmly mama_pris

I absolutely loved this book and the sew along. This was my first block group, so I was a little lost in the beginning. I wasn't able to keep up either since I work full time. But I have now found my niche. Sew in love with scrappy blocks. Thank you spool much and look forward to the next go around.

I am still working on my blocks. I have really enjoyed this quilt along. The book is wonderful and some of the blocks are more challenging than others. Thank you Moda, Martingale and special thanks to Susan Ache for her book. I am using 30’s reproduction fabric so my quilt will be colorful. Such fun!

Yes! I would love to participate again! I am not yet finished with my blocks! I’m a “slow poke,” but I will finish. I have a friend that is creating with me. She is not on Instagram, but occasionally I post her blocks, too!

Finished all 106 blocks - now I need to pick the sashing and get them together.

I'm not quite finished with Block Heads 3. The Moda Block Heads series is a great way to do some fun blocks.
