Sampler Spree QAL - A Wrap!
Sampler Spree QAL - A Wrap!
Wow. When we started this, we knew that we were asking a lot. One hundred blocks in ten weeks - it's more than one block per day.
We asked you to sew blocks by color. And many of you did that. You dove in - feet first and head first!
And now you've got enough blocks to make a quilt.
This is Susan's Give & Take quilt. One hundred blocks with a rather unique sashing.
We have loved seeing the blocks posted. Some have been in groups, others have posted a block a day. We have loved seeing the blocks stitched by color, those made with a collection pre-cut, and those made with your scraps. Whatever your plan, whatever your pace, we have enjoyed following along on this adventure.
Last week, right after the Week 10 blocks were posted, a couple of us scrolled through the #samplerspreeqal pictures on Facebook and Instagram, and we each picked a few of our favorite sewists.

Becky, CJ, Reece and Carol - if you will leave a comment on this post with your e-mail address, we have a couple of things to send you from Martingale and Moda. (Your e-mail addresses will not be made public - I approve the comments so I'll make sure these stay hidden. Please include your name or IG name.)
Since some of you have already asked about what's next... we are working on a concept for Block Heads 4. We hope to have that ready to share by next Spring.
In addition to that, would you be interested in doing something like this again?
On behalf of Susan, everyone at Moda and Martingale, and me - thank you!
We hope you had as much fun with this as we did.
