Four patches are one of the most useful building blocks of quilting! They can be combined with nearly any other building block and also look fantastic on their own. This speedy method makes two four-patches at one time.

2 contrasting Charm squares

Place Charm squares right sides together. Sew a scant 1/4" seam from each of two opposite sides.

Cut apart at the center - 2" from either seam.

Press units towards the darker fabric.

Flip units so that prints are opposite one another. Nest seams and pin together. Repeat the process from above.

Once you cut in half and press, you will have two lovely sets of 4-patch blocks!
