Ruby Moves On... to Oz?

I am making progress.

CT-Little-Ruby-Triangles

I have most of my strip sets pieced and pressed, and most of the triangles have been cut.  I will need a few more strip sets since... well, I might made a change or two.  But more on this in a moment.

Just to catch you up if you've been on holiday, I'm "quilting along" with Camille from Thimbleblossoms and Kimberly from the Jolly Jabber and the Fat Quarter Shop.  Camille designed a quilt for a Little Ruby Quilt-along and because I simply don't have enough new projects on my list, I jumped in with both feet!

Little Ruby - it's the super-yummy, works with everything B & C, in-shops-now collection from Bonnie & Camille.  No, that's not it above - this is it here.

To do something a little different, I'm using a mix of collections from Jen Kingwell - the upcoming Moving On Lawns, the in-shops-now Lollies, Just A Speck, Gardenvale and Behind the Scenes.  That's the background I'm using - I decided to do something a little different and go with a dark grey.  (Okay, so I'm shamelessly copying another one of Jen's quilts, her Lawn Star from Jenny From One Block - coming very soon.)

These are Jen's lawns.  I. Love. Them.

A lot.

This week's instructions are for Part Two: Star Blocks.  It's a free downloadable PDF and you can find the instructions, a terrific video tutorial and all sorts of useful information about making this quilt on the Jolly Jabber.

The next step - last step - is June 27th.  I'm not sure if I'll be finished or even further along by then but it's not like I won't let you know how I've fared, right?

Happy Monday!
