This market I got to experience a little of the behind the scenes action. I was able to help Camille  Roskelley with her booth set up--and I gained a whole new appreciation for all the time and effort that goes into making every booth amazing! I only had a couple of hours of sleep the night before, so if anything was crooked in the booth...blame it on me! It really is incredible seeing the whole showroom come to life in just a couple of days.

Bonnie & Camille's booth had Camille's quilts on the left and Bonnie's on the right. Everything blended together perfectly and had such an inviting modern-retro appeal. Bonnie & Camille were debuting Scrumptious.

Joanna Figueroa of Fig Tree & Company had a gorgeous booth. From her flooring to the gorgeous "Fig Tree" ladders to the inspiring quilts, this booth was a breath of fresh air. Joanna's new collection is Honeysweet.

The Zen Chic booth was also inspiring. I love Barcelona, the new Zen Chic collection with a retro-urban appeal.

Something new this market was that many of the Moda designers showcased their fabrics and projects in one of the two Moda designer sections. I thought it was a lot of fun--and each designer had their section jam-packed with goodies and inspiration. Kaari's new collection, Josephine, was stunning in the French General section.

This quilt in Kate Spain's new collection, Sunnyside, caught my eye every time I walked by...finally I figured I'd better take a picture!

I love this vignette of Sandy Klop's Pot Luck collection...yes, the ruler fabrics are back (so I can finally quit hoarding the fat quarter I've been saving for years)...but the entire collection is absolutely incredible as well.

And here is a quilt...again...it kept catching my eye. It's pieced using  Pot Luck.

A quick shot of Mid-Winter Reds by Minick & Simpson...the fabrics in this new collection are awe-inspiring...such gorgeous quilts and quilting!

I wish I had photos of every single section of the Moda area--every collection and every booth was inspirational. I'll finish my photo tour with  another shot of the leaves. All 19,123 of them. Gorgeous!

Of course you can't write a post-market recap without mentioning Sample Spree. These were the collections I just had to have--they were the first things that went into my suitcase when I started packing to go home--and they were the first things I unpacked when I got back!
